My name is Alex Jones and I am a sophomore, part of the graduating class of 2023. I love music, visual arts, programming, video editing, and all things creation. My main focus in life is finding ways to express myself to the world. The thing I put before my family and myself is the pursue of happiness in my peers. I was born in Galveston, Texas but I have been living most of my life in Houston. Something that excites me about Lamar Life Magazine and the class is that I hope to work on visual arts for the magazine and work on possible stories that connect to my friends and personal interests. I hope to be a graphic designer in this class because I do have past experience in the subject. An interesting fact about me is that I am missing a body part and I am technically an amputee. The most important life lesson I have ever learned is that pursuing what makes you happy gives your life meaning. My favorite movie is Good Fellas because my little brother loves that movie. My favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid because I grew up on that franchise.
