What excites me about Lamar Life

The most interesting part of this position is seeing the students create content and design that captures the moments of life at Lamar.

Interesting Fact

In college, I studied abroad in Spain during the summer and visited all three Picasso museums. I am fascinated by art in various styles and forms.

Most Important Life Lesson Learned

“Appreciation is a wonderful thing: it makes what is excellent in others belong to us as well.”  Voltaire

Favorite Book

There are TOO MANY BOOKS to pick a favorite, so I’ll just list what I’m currently reading: The Toll, in the Sythe series by Neal Shusterman, fiction. Where to Begin, a book of ideas, mantras, and poems by Cleo Wade, The Tradition by Jericho Brown, and I occasionally pick up Lies My Teacher Told me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong by James W. Loewen

In my spare time…

You can find me biking around Houston with my partner or friends, creating in a variety of artistic and culinary mediums, and hanging out with my family or a good book/TV show!
