Mischa Wijesekera, Staff Writer
Freshman Mischa Wijesekera is in her first year as a Staff Writer for Lamar Life. Mischa enjoys journalism because it gives her the opportunity to share her opinion, hear other opinions, and give a voice to those who are hesitant to voice their opinions. Mischa enjoys writing her monthly Texan of the Month column because the articles provide insight into the lives and hobbies of Lamar staff and teachers. Mischa hopes she can grow as a writer and a person as she continues to write for Lamar Life for the next three years. Outside of journalism, Mischa loves debating, traveling, playing tennis, and hanging out with her friends.
