It’s the holiday season! For me, and many others, the holidays bring out a certain part of us that loves to bake and make the best sweet treats. Between hot chocolate, Christmas cookies and candy canes, the most unique treats are the ones that are the fun to make with others. I’ve gathered four different treats, drinks and desserts that are perfect for the holiday season!
1. Hot Chocolate Cookies
Hot chocolate is probably the most popular staple for Christmas treats, so making it into a cookie has to be the best idea ever. These cookies are dangerous to anyone with a sweet tooth. The marshmallow bits in the cookies are the best addition and the cookie is literally hot chocolate in solid form. These are 100% a 11/10 and I recommend them to anyone and everyone.
2. Peppermint Mocha Mudslide Drink
I had a mudslide when I went to Costa Rica over the summer, so I knew a peppermint mocha mudslide was going to be a 10/10. It looked so appetizing and delicious, I know it’s perfect to sit by a fire in a living room filled with Christmas decor. This drink was the perfect amount of both chocolate and peppermint and is the perfect holiday drink. This drink was truly amazing.
3. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate
When I saw this drink I knew I had to try it. Trying this for the first time was a great experience. This drink is like an unusual hot chocolate but with hints of caramel and really reminded me of the holidays. I knew immediately it had to go on this list. Everyone loves a hint of caramel. What better place to put it than in hot chocolate? This is an amazing drink that everyone should be sure to try this holiday season.
4. White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies
Are you KIDDING? White chocolate candy cane cookies? This has to be one of the best creations ever made and whoever came up with this idea needs to have everything they want in their life in celebration of this amazing desert. These cookies were to die for. The peppermint shavings added the best addition of flavor to the cookies and are the definition of a Christmas cookie. This is a perfect recipe to make with your family or friends.
